How do I edit or adjust my active practitioner count?

Solution

If you would like to deactivate a practitioner so that they no longer appear in your active practitioner count, please watch the short video or read the steps below to find out how to deactivate a practitioner:

If a practitioner is no longer at the practice or does not require HotDoc at this stage, you can adjust their settings in your HotDoc Dashboard to ensure they're not billed unnecessarily. Please follow the steps below to see how to do this:

1. Log in to your HotDoc Dashboard
   
   
2. Head to Reminders > Settings > Practitioner Settings
   
   Click "Edit" next to a Practitioner:
   
   
   Uncheck the Practitioner for all reminder templates that they are enabled for:
   
   
   Save you changes:
   
   
   
3. Head to Setup > Practitioner Setup > Edit >  "Link to [Clinical software]" and unlink the practitioner by selecting the 'x':
   
   
   
   
4. On the same page, select Archive Practitioner > Yes, archive to finalise your settings. Please note: you will have to select a reason as to why you are archiving your practitioner:
