Question

How does HotDoc determine if a practitioner is on a Doctor rate or an Allied Health rate?

Solution

For a clinic on our GP subscription, HotDoc determines a practitioner's rate depending on how they've been classified under the Profession field in their Practitioner Profile.

Profession

Subscription Rate

Doctor/Physician Doctor
Nurse Free of charge (included in your Doctor rate)
Treatment Room Free of charge (included in your Doctor rate)
Allied Health Allied Health
Dental Allied Health
Complementary Therapies Allied Health

  • To view or edit the Profession in your Dashboard under Setup > Practitioner Setup > Edit > Profession:
