Question
A patient does not want to pay for their appointment via HotDoc but their appointment is getting cancelled due to the Auto Cancel Appts setting. How can I cancel the request for payment without cancelling the appointment?

Solution
You can cancel a request for payment, without cancelling the patient's appointment, in the Dashboard:
- In your HotDoc Dashboard, head to Payments > Booking Activity > All then locate the patient's appointment.
- Select the Cancel button next to their appointment.
- You will then be asked to confirm that you wish to cancel the funds. Select Yes, Cancel to continue:
- The appointment will still remain in your appointment book but the request for payment will be cancelled. The patient can then pay for their appointment directly at the clinic.
