Does HotDoc sync recalls for practitioners who have been archived?

Last updated 09 December 2024 01:18   ∙   ~ minute read

Question

Does HotDoc continue to sync and send recalls to patients once we archive a doctor in our HotDoc Dashboard?

Solution

Yes. We will continue to sync recalls and show them in the HotDoc Dashboard regardless of whether a doctor has been archived or if they are active.

This is to ensure the patient is notified of important health messages and receive ongoing care, even if their doctor has left the practice (particularly as many Clinical Reminders are entered into the PMS months ahead).

Once a doctor leaves your practice and you have archived them in your HotDoc Dashboard, we will not bill you for this doctor, even if a patient receives a recall previously entered by this doctor. To see how to archive a practitioner, please follow these instructions: How do I edit or adjust my active practitioner count?
