Can I choose the specific days and times that my recall notifications will send to patients?
Solution
Yes! You can edit this in your HotDoc Dashboard under Recalls > Settings.
It is recommended that you consider when you and your reception team will be most equipped to handle any patient enquiries as a result of sending recalls at a specific time. By default, we generally recommend that you set:
- A time when you're most quiet at the reception desk
- To send only on days when the practice is open for business
- Not to send on weekends
Note: Recalls are not send on national or state public holidays.
Please follow the steps below for how to edit the days and/or times:
- Log in to your HotDoc Dashboard and navigate to Recalls > Settings
- To edit the Send time, use the drop down boxes to select your preferred time frame.
- To chose the days to send, use the check boxes to select the preferred days for your recalls to send to patients.
- If your practice is using Results you can configure these to send at the same time as your clinical reminders by selecting the box, or separately by editing the send times and days.
- Select the green Save button.
