Where are Recall notes entered into the patients file within Best Practice?

When HotDoc performs an automatic action such as sending out a Recall SMS, or if the patient performs an action such as reading the  Recall SMS, we will keep an audit of this action by writing back a note to the patient's clinical record.

Read below to learn where these notes are kept if you need to reference this audit.

Clinical Reminders

In Best Practice, clinical reminder notes are entered here: 

  1. Patient file > 'Past visits' > Uncheck the 'Hide non visits' checkbox and a list will show.

  2. Double click on an entry to see the full detail:

Results

  1. We will write back all contact attempts, actions taken in the Dashboard, as well as when the patient verifies their identity and views the message. In the Patient File > Go to Past Visits (make sure Hide non visits is unticked). Notes will be written back as a 'non visit' or '3rd party' for clinics on BP Jade:
