Our practice has a Facebook page and I would like our patients to be able to book from there. How can I set this up?
Solution
Your practice may manage a Facebook page to increase patient engagement, interaction and education. Alongside the promotional aspect of a Facebook page, you can also create a post that has a link to your bookings page, then pin this to appear at the top so your patients can use this to book online via HotDoc!
To do so, follow these steps:
- Go to your Clinic's Page on Facebook and then create a post that includes your HotDoc bookings page URL. (You can get this by copying the URL on your booking page and pasting it in the post).
- Once you have created the post, you want to pin this post so it appears at the top of your Facebook page. Please follow the instructions in the following Facebook article How do I pin a post to the top of my Facebook Page's timeline?
- An pinned post will then appear at the top of your posts like this:
