How do I turn on/off the 'Book online' button on my 'Google My Business' profile?

Solution

Google has made it easier for patients to book with you directly from Google Search. This integration links straight to your existing HotDoc booking page, streamlining the patient booking process.

With this integration:

  • Patients use your usual HotDoc booking flow
  • Your branding and booking experience remain untouched
  • All data stays secure within HotDoc's ecosystem

If you wish to opt-out, or have opted out previously and wish to opt back in, you can do so by following the instructions below:

When making changes to this setting please note that it make take up to 2 business days to take effect. 
Please note:

 

  1. Log in to your HotDoc Dashboard and navigate into the left-hand menu to Bookings > Settings:

  2. Scroll down to the 'Appointment booking via your Google My Business profile' section:

  3. Then either select/deselect the tick box next to 'Show the "Book online" button on your Google My Business profile':

  4. Then click 'Save':
