Your Google Business Profile is often the first thing patients see when they search for your practice. Keeping it up to date makes it easier for patients to find you, book with you and stay across what's happening at your practice.
Claim or update your profile
- Search for your practice on Google or Google Maps.
- If you haven't claimed your profile yet, select Own this business? and follow Google's prompts to verify it.
- Check your practice details are correct – address, opening hours, phone number and website.
For detailed instructions, see Google Business Profile Help.
Let patients book from Google
HotDoc adds a Book online button to your Google Business Profile. Patients who select it go straight to your HotDoc booking page, so there's nothing to set up and no need to add a booking link to your profile yourself.

The button is on by default. If your practice is also listed with another booking provider, patients may see more than one booking option.
To turn the button off or back on, see How do I turn on/off the 'Book online' button on my Google My Business profile?
| Dental4Windows practices don't have this setting in the HotDoc Dashboard. To turn the button on or off, contact our Support team. |
Share updates with posts
