When a recall sequence on HotDoc contains a letter there are ways in which we can edit this to ensure you are happy with the message you are sending to your patients.

How to access, view and edit your letter template
For each Result and Clinical Reminder template, you can edit these to have unique wording for each of your letter templates.
- Navigate to Recalls > Template groups in the HotDoc Dashboard. This page shows the list of pre-populated templates HotDoc has set up as a default for your practice, as well as any template you may have created in addition.

Select the Edit Template button on the template you wish to edit:
- Once in the edit screen, you will be able to select the Letter area to view what your recall letter template currently looks like.
- In the Reminder message field, you can edit the default message that patients will receive. This message is equal to what would have been written in your letters before using HotDoc and will be displayed to your patients after they verify their DOB and surname in the SMS recall link:
How to customise the letterhead in your letter

- You will notice that at the very top of your letter is a letterhead. By default, this will pre-populate with your logo, clinic name, address, phone number and website. To learn more about how to edit these fields please review the following article. How to edit your Practice Profile Information
- If you would like the letterhead removed, please contact HotDoc Support.
- To uploaded a custom letterhead, please send a jpeg image to HotDoc Support in the dimensions of 1400 pixels by 300 pixels.
