The patient journey
HotDoc sends the MyMedicare Registration form to eligible patients via push notification, email, or SMS, depending on available contact details. The form is voluntary, requires patient consent, and includes guidance to register only if your practice is their regular clinic, along with links to official MyMedicare resources.
| Patients receive the form based on your form settings, linked appointment types, and eligibility criteria: they must be existing patients with a valid Medicare card, not already registered in your clinical software, and not have received the form in the past 120 days. |
Additionally, patients may be prompted to register through the MyMedicare Inform Promotion, which directs them to the official MyMedicare website rather than your clinic’s form.
