How do I set up or edit my appointment reminder settings?  

 

Solution

To access your appointment reminders settings, log in to your HotDoc Dashboard and navigate to Reminders > Settings. You will be able to adjust the below settings:

  • How to activate Appointment Reminders
  • How to enable sending Push Notifications
  • How to enable or disable sending Email Reminders
  • How to send appointment reminders on Friday for appointments on Monday
  • How to disable reminders sending for patients of a certain age
  • How to disable reminders sending for inactive patients
  • How to respect opt out preferences from your clinical software? - PracSoft, Zedmed and Optomate customers only
  • How to add a Custom Message
  • How to edit Practitioner settings for appointment reminders

Note: If you want to edit your appointment reminder copy, you can do this in Reminders > Templates. Please see How do I edit the copy of our Appointment Reminders?

Note: You can use this to suspend Reminders if you're experiencing any troubles that require you to manually confirm appointments instead.
