Can I book patients into any practice on HotDoc?
No, you will only have access to book patients into practices associated with your company.
Can I amend or cancel an appointment that I booked for a patient?
No, the patient will need to amend or cancel their appointment directly with the practice. They can also cancel their appointment via a HotDoc Appointment Reminder if they have received one.
Can a practice see if an appointment was booked via the Call Centre feature?
Yes! The practice can see the details of the call centre operator that booked the appointment in the Dashboard via Bookings > Booking History > Booked By
Is there a limit to how many appointments a Call Centre user can book?
No, Call Centre users can book an unlimited number of appointments on behalf of patients.
Can I access the details of patients that have booked via the call centre in the past?
No, you will need to enter the details of the patient you are booking for each time that you make an appointment on their behalf.
Will patients still receive communications for appointments booked on their behalf?
Yes, the patient will still receive communications for their appointment directly, including:
- Confirmation Emails
- Appointment Reminders
- Forms prompts
- Pre and post appointment information
