How to find information in the Support Centre

The HotDoc Support Centre is a great to go to when you need assistance or troubleshooting guidance. It's regularly updated to keep in line with HotDoc features. 

1. To access the HotDoc Support Centre, in your web browser navigate to support.hotdoc.com.au. Save this page as a bookmark in your web browser to easily access later. 
   
   
   
2. You can search for questions or keywords in the search bar. As you type, suggested articles will appear which you can click to access.
   You can click the Search button on the right to see the full list of results. 
   
   
   
   
3. Underneath the search bar, you'll see Top Articles, which may help for common issues. Click on the article title to open it up:
   
   
4. Below Top Articles, you'll see some categories that you can select to find more information about the specific areas. For example, clicking the Browse By Feature category will show you a list of articles sorted by the HotDoc feature they relate to:
   
   
   
   
5. If you need to Print any article, or Email an article for your reference, you can use the Print and Email buttons at the top of each article. The article will be reformatted to fit on a page if you select Print, and selecting Email will automatically compress images to an email-ready format:

How to access HotDoc Academy

1. To access HotDoc Academy, go to academy.hotdoc.com.au. It's a good idea to bookmark this page so you can access it again quickly. 
   
   
2. Log in to HotDoc Academy with your HotDoc Dashboard or Sidebar username and password:
   
   
   • You will need to press Authorise to pass on your account information to Skilljar, a third party which manages the HotDoc Academy platform. This platform has been fully vetted from a security standpoint, and only the following information is provided to Skilljar:

1. • • Your name and clinic (in order to track your progress and provide you with tailored support when you need it)
     • The clinical software you use (in order to tailor courseware to your specific software)
       
       
       
2. From the HotDoc Academy homepage, select your role or the product you would like information about in order to access the courseware:
   
   
   
3. As you complete training, HotDoc Academy will keep track of your progress. Make sure you always use the same username and password so that your progress is always up to date. 
   
   

Searching HotDoc Academy

As you are using HotDoc Academy, you may need to access specific training or solve a single issue. We recommend using the search feature in these cases.  

1. To search HotDoc Academy, use the search bar in the top right of the screen:
   
   
   
   
2. Instantly, results will appear which include the words you have searched for:
   
   
   
   
3. Using the filter buttons at the top of the screen, you can refine these results to only show Plans, Paths, Courses or Individual Lessons. Click any result to be taken directly to that page. You may need to register or enrol for a course before being able to access it.
