Question

I want to allow/deny patients over 60 years old to book a particular Covid vaccine appointment online (eg. Pfizer, AstraZeneca). How do I do this? 

Solution

You can edit the settings in the Bookings > Appointment Types section of your Dashboard to allow/deny patients over 60 to book a particular vaccine appointment type. This has been used in the past for vaccine brands such as AstraZeneca or Pfizer.

 

To do this: 

1. Log in to your Dashboard. 
   
    
2. Go to Bookings > Appointment Types > Edit next to your vaccine appointment type(s). 
   
   
   
    
3. Scroll down to Vaccination Appointment Setup, and check or uncheck the box next to Allow all patients aged 60 years and over to book, then click Save:
   
   
   
    
4. If you have a Dose 1 and Dose 2 appointment type, repeated this step for both appointment types
