Can I quickly view a patient's previous or next booked appointment in the HotDoc Calendar?

Solution

There are two ways you can view a patients appointment history. 

• Click on upcoming appointment in the Calendar
• View in the 'Patient Search' section to view their appointment history
  
  

Click on upcoming appointment in the Calendar 

Firstly, if the patient has an upcoming appointment in the HotDoc Calendar, you can click on their appointment to view their next and previous appointment: 

1. Log into the Dashboard and click on Calendar.
   
   
2. Click on the patient's appointment to open the edit appointment module. You will then see the patient's next appointment and previous appointment (if any):
   
   
   
   
3. To see the patients full appointment history click View All and you will be directed to the Patients Appointments tab in the Patient Search section of the Dashboard:

• • Note: The appointment history includes imported appointments from your software (if applicable), HotDoc booked appointments and appointments booked into the Calendar by reception.  
    
    

View in the 'Patient Search' to view their appointment history 

If you can't see a patients upcoming appointment in the Calendar, you can see this in Patients >  Patient Search section of the Dashboard to view their entire appointment history. Please see How to search for patient details in HotDoc to see exactly how to do this.
