If your practice has upgraded to Best Practice Jade or Saffron, there is a new setting that needs to be enabled for HotDoc to continue to integrate. It is important to perform the steps below so that HotDoc can place appointments in the book, write back notes and perform other actions.
Enable third party integration with HotDoc
To enable this integration between Best Practice Jade/Saffron and HotDoc, please follow these steps:
- Open BP Premier and navigate to Setup > Configuration:
- Select Database on the left hand side:
- Click the Setup third-party integrations button.
- In the Setup third party integrations window that will appear, check the box next to 'HotDoc'.
- Please note: If this is not listed, a previous BP update may not have properly installed. In this case you will need to contact BP Support for further assistance.

- Click Save.
- Login to the HotDoc Dashboard and navigate to Setup > Install HotDoc:
- Check the box that reads I have enabled HotDoc in the Best Practice Third-Party Integrations dialog:
- Click Save.
