If your practice uses the Check In feature and you are utilising the HotDoc Kiosk device, you may want to also use this for Walk In appointments. This allows patients to 'walk-in' to the practice, and book an appointment via the HotDoc Kiosk.

How to activate Walk Ins
- Log into your HotDoc Dashboard
- Select Check-in > Settings > Walk Ins:
- To enable this feature, select the checkbox next to 'Active' to turn Walk Ins on or unselect to turn Walk Ins off. Click the green 'Save' button to save your settings:

How to select arrival location
This is to set the location at which the Walk-in will be entered into your Practice Management Software. If this is left blank, the location associated with the practitioner selected by the patient will be used.
- On the same page, select the intended branch or appointment book from the dropdown list titled ‘Select arrival location’. Click the green 'Save' button:
