You may wish to withhold some appointments from being arrived by the HotDoc Kiosk or Mobile Check-In if they need additional touch points with reception.

For this reason, HotDoc Check-In allows you to limit appointment types and practitioners via the settings in the HotDoc Dashboard.

How to limit certain appointment types for Check-In:

1. In the HotDoc Dashboard, go to Check-in > Settings and then select Appointment Types:

2. Simply untick the boxes next to the appointment type(s) that should not be arrived via the Kiosk or Mobile Check-In and select Save. If a patient with this appointment type attempts to check in via the Kiosk or HotDoc app, they will be asked to see reception instead.
   
   
   

How to limit certain practitioners for Check-In:

1. In the HotDoc Dashboard, go to Check-in > Settings and then select Practitioners:

2. Simply untick the boxes next to the practitioner(s) that should not be arrived via the Kiosk or Mobile Check-In and select Save. If a patient booked in to see this practitioner attempts to check in via the Kiosk or HotDoc app, they will be asked to see reception instead.
