How to view Practitioner Reporting in the HotDoc Sidebar

This article will take you through the steps for accessing and understanding the practitioners' Performance Report dashboard.

The Performance Report dashboard is available to practitioners who have a HotDoc Practitioner Sidebar account. If you do not have access to an account you can ask your Practice Manager or Admin to set one up for you by following these steps: How to create, edit or delete a User Account (HotDoc login details)

The Performance Report shows a wide range of reports, showing weekly, monthly and annual information that covers the following metrics:

  • Revenue
  • Analytics
  • Appointments
  • HotDoc Bookings
  • Routine Requests
  • Telehealth on Demand

Please note:

If you are sharing your computer with another person, make sure to log out of the sidebar at the end of your day to avoid any potential data privacy concerns.

How to access the Performance Report dashboard

  1. Open either the Installed Sidebar or the Web Sidebar and log in with your practitioner account.

  2. Click 'Menu > Performance Report' in the top right corner.

  3. You'll now be shown your Performance Report dashboard.
    Please note: for installed dashboard users this will pop up in a separate window, that you can resize, and also close when done.

  4. You can also click on any tooltip icon or read below to learn more about each report.

Understanding your Performance Report

Your Performance Report is broken up into 5 Sections, with a multitude of reports under each section, typically breaking the data down into weekly, monthly or annual reports. If a report is showing as blank, that means either there is no current information for this report or you are yet to be set up for the related feature.

Revenue

Telehealth On Demand Revenue Per Week

Your revenue from completed Telehealth on Demand appointments each week.

Routine Requests Revenue Per Week

Your revenue from completed Routine Requests each week, by request type.

Estimated Revenue from New Patients

Your monthly estimated annual revenue* earned from new patient appointments generated via HotDoc.
*Assumes 2.5 visits at $100 each visit, annually

New Patients Estimated Revenue per year

Your yearly estimated annual revenue* earned from new patient appointments generated via HotDoc.
*Assumes 2.5 visits at $100 each visit, annually

Analytics

Current Patient Care Team Additions

The number of patients who have added you into their ‘HotDoc Care Team’.

Clinic Average

The average ‘Current Patient Care Team Additions’ for other doctors at your practice.

Appointments

Appointments per week

Your weekly completed HotDoc-booked activities. This includes face-to-face appointments, actioned Routine Requests and Telehealth appointments.

Appointments per month

Your monthly completed HotDoc-booked activities. This includes face-to-face appointments, actioned Routine Requests and Telehealth appointments.

Appointments per year

Your yearly completed HotDoc-booked activities. This includes face-to-face appointments, actioned Routine Requests and Telehealth appointments.

New Patients per month

Your monthly new patient traffic. These are new practice patients who found and booked with you through HotDoc.

HotDoc Bookings

HotDoc Bookings per month

Your monthly HotDoc-booked appointments, based on when the appointment was booked by the patient. This includes completed, pending and cancelled appointments.

HotDoc Bookings YoY

Your yearly HotDoc-booked appointments, based on when the appointment was booked by the patient. This includes completed, pending and cancelled appointments.

Routine Requests

Routine Requests per week

Your weekly actioned Routine Requests, by type. ‘Actioned’ includes both completed and rejected requests.

Actioned Routine Requests YoY

Your yearly actioned Routine Requests by type. ‘Actioned’ includes both completed and rejected requests.

All Completed Routine Requests

Your total, all-time actioned Routine Requests, split by type. ‘Actioned’ includes both completed and rejected requests.

Telehealth On Demand

Telehealth On Demand Appointments per week

Your completed Telehealth On Demand appointments each week.

Telehealth On Demand Appointments per month

Your completed Telehealth On Demand appointments each month.

Telehealth On Demand Appointments per YoY

Your yearly completed Telehealth On Demand appointments.
