The location of your HotDoc Kiosk is important for ease of use and successfully deflecting patients from reception.
Here are some helpful tips to ensure your Check-in Kiosk is in the optimal position for your practice.
- Ensure it is between the entrance and the Reception desk to encourage patients to use it when they first walk in to the practice
- Positioned near the Reception desk will mean patients can seek help if they are promoted to see Reception at any point during their check in
- It's best to place the kiosk to the side of the Reception desk so it's not directly in front of Staff who need to help others
- If there's limited available space in the waiting area, we can provide the steps to mount the kiosk on the wall to save space
