How can I connect the HotDoc Kiosk to WiFi?

Question

How do I connect my HotDoc Check-in Kiosk to WiFi? 

 

Solution

 

In order for the Chromebase Kiosk to check in a patient, it needs to be connected to a strong and stable internet network.

You will be able to connect to the internet by either an ethernet cable or via the WiFi network at your practice. This article will take you through how to connect your kiosk to a wireless network.

  1. Switch on your Kiosk, and this screen will show if it has not previously joined and remembered an internet connection:

  2. Tap the select a network drop down menu and select your WiFi network:

  3. Enter your WiFi password as required for this network and select connect:

  4. Once successfully connected, you will then be prompted to log in to the Kiosk, using your HotDoc clinic user details (Sidebar and Dashboard login):
