Why am I unable to find the right Practitioner's name in the drop down list when setting up a new practitioner profile in the HotDoc Dashboard?
If you are unable to locate the correct practitioner in the drop down menu, there are a few things you can check.
To fix this:
- If the practitioner has just been added to your practice management software, try waiting 15 minutes, refreshing the Dashboard and checking for them again. It can sometimes take a few minutes for HotDoc to sync this new information.
- HotDoc syncs practitioners as active for linking when we see sessions attached to the practitioner in your clinical software. Please make sure that the practitioner has standard sessions set up and then wait a few more minutes for HotDoc to sync this information.
- HotDoc also syncs practitioners as active for linking by seeing if there are any upcoming appointments in their book. If there are no future appointments in the appointment book for this practitioner, try adding a test booking in an upcoming appointment slot and wait a few more minutes for HotDoc to sync this information.
