A patient has submitted their form and the PDF hasn't written back into my clinical software, how can I fix this?
To fix this:
- Firstly, please check where you can locate the PDF form in your clinical software to ensure that you are looking in the correct section of your software.
- If your practice uses Best Practice and you cannot find the PDF form located in the "Correspondence In" section of the patient record, this may indicate that we don't have the appropriate access level to your Best Practice database.
- This requires adding HotDoc as a User so that we can successfully complete automatic PDF writebacks for your practice. Please see the Best Practice section of Downloading PDF form submissions for instructions on how to add this user.
- If your practice already has a HotDoc User Setup, or you use a different clinical software and you still cannot see that the form has written back, please check to see that the form was not manually downloaded as a PDF via the Sidebar prior to being processed or completed.
