How to set up a Practitioner in HotDoc that works across multiple locations?

Solution

It is possible to have a Practitioner setup in multiple HotDoc Dashboards because they work at more than one location. 

1. You will first need to set up their Practitioner Profile. If your practice has multiple HotDoc Dashboards you will need to set up a profile for your practitioner in all relevant Dashboards. For more information on how to do this please see How to add or edit a Practitioner. 
   
   

2. Use the 'Link to (clinical software)' drop-down menu to connect the profile to the corresponding practitioner in your clinical software. Please see How to link or unlink a Practitioner for further details.

3. Hide Sessions (Optional)
   

   The Hide Sessions feature allows you to block parts of a practitioner's session from showing as available online. You may like to complete this additional step if your Practitioner has set days that they work at each location. To set up a hidden session, please click here.
   
   

Example of a Practitioner who does not work at this location on Mondays & Tuesdays. This will guarantee the Practitioner will not show as available to book at this location on Mondays and Tuesdays.
