How to temporarily disable online script or referral requests

Last updated 18 March 2020 02:13

There may be times where you want to suspend a patients ability to request repeat prescriptions or referrals online for your clinic. A common reason for this could be due to the clinic being closed due to a holiday period.

In these cases, you can temporarily disable your repeats product by following the steps below.

How to temporarily disable Repeats:

  1. Log in to your HotDoc Dashboard and select Repeats > Setup.

  2. Scroll down to the section titled Temporarily Disable. From here, you can select the date range you'd like to disable for as well as add an optional message to give your patients additional information about why this feature has been disabled. Repeats will automatically reenable on the day you nominated.
