Question
I want to temporarily disable the option for patients to request repeat prescriptions or referrals on our booking page (e.g. the clinic will be closed due to a holiday period).

There is two ways to temporarily disable the option for patients to request repeat prescriptions or referrals on our booking page.

How do I disable requests practice wide?

Log in to your HotDoc Dashboard and select Quick Consults > Settings.

Scroll down to the section titled Temporarily Disable. Select the date range you'd like to disable requests for, and add an optional message to inform your patients about why this feature has been disabled. Ensure you click, Updated details to save. Requests will automatically re-enable, after the period you've selected.

Lastly, click the Update Details button in the bottom right corner, to save your changes:
How do I disable requests per individual practitioner?

Log in to your HotDoc Dashboard and select Quick Consults > Practitioner Setup.

Find the practitioner you wish to disable and deselect Prescriptions and Referrals for them.

Lastly click the Save button, in the bottom right hand corner, to ensure your changes take effect.
Please note: When you wish to reenable them ensure you repeat this process but select Prescriptions and Referrals
