How do I disable Quick Consult requests temporarily?

Question

I want to temporarily disable the option for patients to request repeat prescriptions or referrals on our booking page (e.g. the clinic will be closed due to a holiday period).

 

Solution

There is two ways to temporarily disable the option for patients to request repeat prescriptions or referrals on our booking page.

How do I disable requests practice wide?

  1. Log in to your HotDoc Dashboard and select Quick Consults > Settings.

  2. Scroll down to the section titled Temporarily disable Quick Consults. Select the date range you'd like to disable requests for:

  3. Lastly, click the Update Details button to save. Requests will automatically re-enable, after the period you've selected.

How do I disable requests per individual practitioner?

  1. Log in to your HotDoc Dashboard and select Quick Consults > Practitioner Setup.

  2. Find the practitioner you wish to disable and click on the pencil icon under the services column

  3. Deselect the checkboxes next to the services and click save to ensure your changes take effect.

    Please note: When your practitioners want to start receiving requests again, select all checkboxes to re-enable them.
