How can I stop Recalls from sending to specific age groups?

You can set age ranges that are to be excluded from being sent an SMS Recall in the HotDoc Dashboard. The most common reasons you may want to restrict an age group are:

  • To protect the privacy of teenagers from receiving SMS Recalls to their guardian's devices
  • To exclude age groups that may generally not own or engage with mobile devices

How to stop SMS from sending to an age group

  1. Log in to your HotDoc Dashboard and click Recalls > Settings

  2. Age restrictions can be set in the section below. There are two options: a setting for teenagers and a setting for patients over a specific age:

  3. Enter the desired age range and save your changes:
