What should I do if the patient doesn't respond to the SMS?


Firstly what we call 'responding' = Open the link in the SMS, enter their surname and DOB and successfully verify their identity so they can see the reason they are being asked to make an appointment.


If they don't do this, they will either be sent a 2nd/subsequent SMS if you decide to have this setting in place, or after the final SMS attempt, the patient recall will always end up in the 'Remind By Post' tab.


You can then either decide to call the patient, or print their letters
