How do I delay a Recall sending until its due date?

When you send a SMS Recall to the patient may depend on what reason you are recalling them for. Some recall/clinical reminder reasons may be better sent on the date it's due, rather than in advance.

To change a Recall Template's send date to only send on the patient's due date, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your HotDoc Dashboard and navigate to Recalls > Template Groups

  2. Either search for the template using the search box or locate the template directly from the list:

  3. Click 'Edit Template' on the template you wish to change:

  4. Scroll down to the option Delay sending first SMN until the due date and select this checkbox:

  5. Select the green Save button to save your change:

  6. To switch this feature off, simply uncheck the box and save your change.
