Patients are able to use HotDoc Check-In to update their contact details when they arrive themselves for an appointment via the Kiosk or iPad.
Once a patient confirms their identity, they can review and update their contact details. These changes are instantly updated in the patients file, freeing up time from your reception staff and improving the data quality of your patient records.
If a patient has updated their details, you can review these changes in your HotDoc Dashboard by following the instructions below.
How to see patient updates in your Dashboard
- After logging into the Dashboard, please click on the Check-In tab and select Patient Updates from the dropdown list.
- This will then show you a list of patients who have updated their details alongside:
- The device they used
- The information they updated including what it was prior to being updated
- The date this was completed
