How do I set up or edit Quick Consults request types?

If you would like to set up more Quick Consult request types, such as medical certificates, for patients to request online via your HotDoc page, or if you would like to edit the settings for your request types, please follow the instructions below.

  • How to set up new request types for Quick Consults

How to set up new request types for Quick Consults 

  • Medical Certificates, Imaging and Pathology referrals do not have a specified delivery method, allowing you to send these to patients following your regular processes or however is most appropriate for your practice. 

  • For Repeat prescriptions, you can set up prices for each of the following delivery methods:
    • Collection from the practice
    • Post to the patient
    • Urgent collection from the practice (within 2 business days)
    • Send to a pharmacy
    • SMS eScript to patient
    • Email eScript to patient

  • For Repeat Specialist referrals, you can set up prices for each of the following delivery methods:
    • Non Urgent collection: Patient directed to collect referral from your clinic
    • Electronic: Referral sent to specialist within 5 business days
    • Urgent Electronic: Referral sent to specialist urgently, within 2 business dayss
